MARSHALING BENEFITS

There would be no Torrey Pines Men’s GC or 60+ golf tournaments each year without the leadership and assistance of volunteers. Your 15 board members donate a lot of time and they are assisted by others specifically our marshals who help with pace of play. Our marshals are not there to penalize you. Their goal is to help you find your ball, maybe let you know when you fall behind and to help you catch up. Please treat our marshals with respect and courtesy… they are on your side!

Our members love the game of golf and many of them volunteer for the various pro golf events in the San Diego area including the Farmers Insurance Open, the Kia Classic, and the US Open. Our marshals receive preferred tee times for one tournament for each tournament they marshal. SERVICE BENEFITS

• You will have earned a priority tee time that you can use for any upcoming tournament at Torrey Pines within 3 months.
• To use a saved priority, sign up for a Torrey Pines tournament and contact the Tournament Chairman, Al Allison and Jim Hartigan during the sign up dates on website.
• Go to Volunteering pull down window, then Club Volunteer Program, click the Link “Volunteer Priority Request”. Complete form and send to reserve your Tee Time.
