Senior Championship

USGA and local rules apply to all tournaments unless otherwise noted.
Must be 55 years old by first day of play. Super seniors must be 65. Must have been a member for 1 year and played in 3 tournaments since then.
Two-day medal play with a cut between days.
95% of current index is used. Same index used for both days. The indexes are updated for the TOCC playoff.
All players in the same flight play from the same tee. Pairings are determined by the Tournament Chairman, but typically have similar index players grouped together where possible.
For weekend (WE) players: Single flight is used as there are typically fewer players. Cut to lowest 24 players at net, 8 at gross.
For weekday (WD) players: Multiple flights. Cut to lowest in each flight not totaling more than 124 players.
A card-off using USGA rules will apply to all ties during the first and second rounds only.
Tournament of Club Champions (TOCC)
A one day playoff will be conducted to determine Senior Gross champion and Net Flight Champion.
i)       Each net flight winner from the weekday and weekend advances to the TOCC to compete for entry to their respective SCGA Net tournament.
ii)      Each Senior Gross champion advances to the TOCC to compete for the Senior Club champion and also gain entry to respective SCGA tournament.
iii)     A Board member will be present to preside over disputes.
iv)    The TOCC playoff is medal play. Ties will be played off.
In addition to the plaque awarded to the Senior Club Champion, additional commemorative  plaques will be awarded to the Net Flight Champion, Super Senior Gross and Net flight winners from both Weekday and Weekend Championships.
Monetary awards are given both days of play per standard distribution.  TOCC gross winner is subsidized to play in the SCGA tournament. Net winner is given a plaque.
